Kompressa Werke

Kompressa Werke has built channel balers in Lower Saxony for six decades, mostly for paper mills, MRF operators and packaging converters. The KW-Kanal platform runs from 30 to 90 tons of pressing force with throughputs from 4 to 28 tons per hour on OCC, and the automatic wire tier handles four to six wires depending on bale specification.

The company’s horizontal closed-door range serves lower-volume commercial sites and takes film, PET bottles and light aluminium. A shared control architecture across both ranges means operators moving between machines see the same HMI, and spare hydraulic assemblies are interchangeable across most of the line.

Kompressa sells direct in Germany, Austria and the Benelux countries, and through appointed distributors elsewhere in Europe. Its Osnabrück works includes a test hall where customer material is trialled for bale density and tie stability before a machine specification is finalised.
