Cascade Stream Systems
Sorting & MRF Systems
Designs and installs single-stream and commercial MRF systems from 8 to 60 tons per hour, covering screens, conveyors, air separation and integration of third-party optical equipment.
Cascade Stream Systems is a systems integrator rather than a component maker. It designs single-stream and commercial MRFs sized between 8 and 60 tons per hour, taking responsibility for the full sort flow from tip floor to baler infeed.
Its own manufactured range covers elliptical disc screens, ballistic separators, glass breaker screens, drum feeders and slider-bed conveyors, all built at the Portland fabrication shop. Optical sorters, eddy currents and robotic pickers are specified from third-party suppliers and integrated under a single controls package.
Retrofit work is a large share of revenue: replacing star screens with ballistics, adding fibre quality control positions, or rebalancing a plant after a change in inbound composition. Cascade runs mass-balance modelling on customer audit data before quoting, and its commissioning contracts include a defined performance test on recovery rate and bale purity for each target commodity.
