Ledgerpoint replaces the paper ticket and the spreadsheet. The platform runs the full transaction chain: inbound weighing, grade assignment, hold periods, payment method, outbound shipping and settlement against contracted commodity pricing.

Scale house integration is direct to indicator serial or Ethernet output, with camera capture, licence scanning and thumbprint hardware supported for jurisdictions that require seller identification on nonferrous purchases. State-level reporting formats for regulated transactions are maintained as part of the subscription rather than built per customer.

Inventory is tracked by lot from purchase through processing to shipment, so operators can see realised margin per lot instead of a monthly average. A mobile grading application lets buyers price loads at a customer site and push the quote into the same ledger.

Ledgerpoint is sold as a per-site annual subscription with tiered user counts, and implementation is delivered by its own team rather than resellers. Typical go-live runs six to ten weeks.
