Extrusia Recycling Machinery
Plastics Machinery
Builds single and twin-screw recycling extruders, shredder-extruder combination units and vacuum degassing systems for post-industrial and post-consumer resin processors worldwide.
Extrusia builds the melt end of the plastics recycling chain. Its single-screw range covers 75 to 180 mm screw diameters at throughputs from 300 to 3,000 kg per hour, and the co-rotating twin-screw line is aimed at heavily contaminated or moisture-loaded feedstock where higher shear and multi-stage devolatilisation are needed.
The combination units integrate a cutter-compactor and extruder on one frame, drying, compacting and feeding film and fibre in a single pass — the configuration most commonly specified by converters reprocessing their own edge trim and start-up scrap.
Vacuum degassing is where the company puts its process engineering: multi-stage systems that strip moisture, monomer residue and volatile organics from the melt to meet odour and food-contact-adjacent requirements.
Machines are built in Lyon and at a second plant in Ohio serving North America. Extrusia maintains service engineers in France, Germany, the United States, Brazil, India and Malaysia.
