Bruckhoff Materials Handling

Bruckhoff builds handlers rather than converted excavators. The range spans 18 to 90 tonnes operating weight with reach from 10 to 27 metres, offered on wheels, tracks, fixed pedestals or gantry rails for port and mill applications.

Cab elevation is standard across the line, giving eye heights from 4.5 to 8 metres so operators can see into trailers and rail gondolas. Load-sensing hydraulics with energy recovery on the boom cylinders are fitted throughout the mid and large range, and the company offers full-electric tethered versions of its pedestal and rail machines for indoor MRF and mill-yard duty where diesel emissions are a constraint.

Assembly is at Ulm, with a second facility in Poland producing booms and sticks. Bruckhoff supports customers through appointed dealers across Europe and maintains a factory-refurbished used programme that carries a 12-month warranty on structures and drivetrain.
