Redstone Shear Works

Attachments & Shears

Builds stationary alligator shears, guillotine shears and shear blade replacements for scrap processors, plus a blade resharpening service covering most major shear brands.

Redstone makes fixed shears for cutting operations inside the yard rather than attachments for carriers. The alligator range covers 8 to 24 inch blade lengths at 40 to 200 tons of cutting force, used mostly on light rebar, pipe, cable and non-ferrous extrusions.

The guillotine line steps up to 400, 600 and 850 ton machines with hold-down and side compression, taking prepared feedstock to mill-spec lengths at cycle times between 8 and 20 seconds. Both ranges are built around a common hydraulic power unit family so customers running several machines can stock one set of pumps and valves.

Blade manufacturing is a business in its own right. Redstone produces replacement blades in tool steel grades for its own machines and for most other shear brands found in North American yards, and operates a resharpening service with freight-in, freight-out handling and a published turnaround of five working days.
